Γεννήθηκε το 1980 στη Θεσσαλονίκη. Αποφοίτησε με άριστα από το Λύκειο Τριανδρίας Θεσσαλονίκης το 1997 και εισήχθη στην Ιατρική Σχολή Δημοκριτείου Πανεπιστημίου Θράκης. Το 2003 ολοκλήρωσε τις σπουδές του στην Ιατρική Σχολή με βαθμό «Λίαν καλώς».
Ξεκίνησε την ειδίκευσή του σε θέση ειδικευόμενου ιατρού της υπαίθρου το 2003 στο Γ.Ν. Χαλκίδας. Στη συνέχεια, συνέχισε την εκπαίδευσή του ως ειδικευόμενος στη Β’ Χειρουργική Κλινική του Γ.Ν. Πειραιά Τζάνειου (2005-2007), στη Θωρακοχειρουργική Κλινική του Ε.Α.Ν. Πειραιά Μεταξά (2008-2012), καθώς και στην Α’ Καρδιοχειρουργική Κλινική – Μονάδα Μεταμοσχεύσεων του Ω.Κ.Κ. (2010-2012).
Το 2013 έγινε επιμελητής Β’ της Α΄ Καρδιοχειρουργικής Κλινικής του Νοσοκομείου Ερρίκος Ντυνάν H.C., ενώ από το 2019 έγινε επιμελητής Α’ της ίδιας Κλινικής. Από τον Απρίλιο του 2025 ως και σήμερα εργάζεται ως Αναπληρωτής Διευθυντής της Α΄ Καρδιοχειρουργικής Κλινικής του Νοσοκομείου Ερρίκος Ντυνάν H.C.
Έχει δημοσιεύσει μελέτες και πολυάριθμα επιστημονικά άρθρα σε διεθνή περιοδικά και έχει συμμετάσχει ως βασικός ομιλητής τόσο σε διεθνή, όσο και σε ελληνικά συνέδρια σε συνεργασία με κορυφαίους ιατρούς του κλάδου.
Είναι υποψήφιος διδάκτωρ της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Εθνικού Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών με τίτλο διδακτορικής διατριβής “Η χρήση των σύνθετων αρτηριοφλεβικών μοσχευμάτων στη χειρουργική επαναιμάτωση του μυοκαρδίου”.
Αποτελεί μέλος του Ιατρικού Συλλόγου Αθηνών καθώς και της Ελληνικής Εταιρείας Χειρουργών Θώρακα-Καρδιάς-Αγγείων.
